William “Will” Abel has experience in a wide variety of commercial litigation matters representing businesses and individuals involved in the local oil & gas, construction, development, maritime & admiralty, and agricultural industries in state and federal district courts and courts of appeal.

Will’s litigation practice includes disputes between business partners, business liquidation & dissolution, contract disputes, restrictive covenants, property damage, personal injury, maritime limitation of liability proceedings, maritime allisions & collisions, maritime & land transportation, insurance & indemnity disputes, and other complex litigation matters.

Will is an active member of the local, state, and federal bar associations, and he has been recognized as a “Rising Star” in business litigation by Louisiana Super Lawyers for the past two years.

In the local community, Will serves as a member of the Thibodaux Chamber of Commerce’s Governmental and Public Affairs Committee. Will is also a member of the Bayou Industrial Group and serves on the BIG Issues Advocacy Committee Meeting.
